Description
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts is a LEED Silver Certified performance venue nestled in the heart of San Antonio. The new cultural destination, highlighted by its original 1920s-era Municipal Auditorium facade, includes a 1,700-seat multipurpose performing arts center, 250-seat black-box theater, outdoor performance venue on the plaza, and Veterans Memorial Plaza honoring Texas Medal of Honor recipients. Throughout the construction process, Linbeck used a suite of tools and technologies that enhanced our ability to preserve the structure’s historic facade. Today, the Tobin Center features all the amenities of a modern performance venue, while simultaneously paying tribute to its architectural past.
