Description
JLABS @ TMC is an innovative collaborative lab environment that allows biomedical startups to perform proprietary research and make new discoveries. Located adjacent to the TMCx business accelerator in the Texas Medical Center, JLABS @ TMC was built to support up to 50 startup companies with its wet lab, wet lab support prep rooms, teleconference room, multi-function collaboration area, focus spaces, and a Global Connect room, a sound attenuated space contained within a custom fiberglass and back-lit enclosure that connects scientists back to home base, Johnson & Johnson. A central courtyard located in the public area diffuses natural light into the core of the large floorplate and acts as an additional space for collaboration.
