The Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRB) is a highly sophisticated structure built as a cast-in-place concrete pan slab frame with mild steel reinforced slabs and girders. Along its exterior, the FRB features a diverse blend of materials, including face brick, structural glazed tile, aluminum curtainwall systems, formed aluminum fabrications, and clay tile roof areas. The bank is bolstered by a system of technologically advanced security systems and houses currency processing services, a data processing center, conference center and meeting spaces, full kitchen and cafeteria services, an employee wellness center, and office spaces for banking and economic research. The FRB campus also includes a four-level, 130,000 SF parking garage, a central energy plant, building maintenance/service shops, two separate security buildings, and a remote Vehicle Preinspection Building.
