Description
Located near the Texas Medical Center, the Kelsey-Seybold Main Campus provides essential cancer care and treatment to patients in the Greater Houston Area. The four-story addition and finish-out of Kelsey-Seybold’s original building debuted the healthcare provider’s first proprietary radiation oncology clinic and added two new linear accelerator vaults, Vision RT, PETCT simulation space, pharmacy prep areas, and hot labs. During construction, Linbeck built a new cast-in-place slab foundation, expanded MEPF capacity for the building, and ran new connections to the central plant. The team also provided new equipment, such as a 500 ton cooling tower, process chillers, rooftop AHU, and exhaust fans, and completed sitework for the campus, including utility rework, demolition and paving of an existing gravel overflow lot, and the creation of a new west drive and drop-off lane with architectural paver inlays.
