Description
James Turrell: Into the Light is a complex art exhibit at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) that features nine James Turrell installations. One of the central installations, “Perfectly Clear,” is a two-story work of art that allows visitors to become immersed in Turrell’s work and experience a sense of infinity through the use of high-intensity LED lights. The remaining eight installations Linbeck constructed, while not as large as “Perfectly Clear,” each demanded the same level of finesse and collaboration with the artist. By working closely with the MASS MoCA staff, Linbeck completed all nine installations ahead of schedule and below budget.
