Description
The new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) was designed to provide advanced outpatient surgical services for the greater Baytown Area. The construction and subsequent build-out projects created three fully fitted ORs, one future shell OR, five pre-operation rooms, seven Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACUs), and associated support spaces. The project also incorporated a variety of specialized systems into the building, including a fully redundant and automated HVAC system for the surgical areas, medical gas systems, nurse call and paging systems, security and access controls, and fully integrated surgical equipment in the ORs. To complete the overall campus, Linbeck also delivered a new parking lot, underground storm sewer, and site detention systems.
