Description
Between 1981 and 2002, Linbeck served as the Builder and Project Manager for multiple projects at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel. In 1981, Linbeck constructed the original hotel, known as The Americana Hotel. The four-star, 760,000 SF luxury hotel covered three city blocks and featured 500+ rooms, a night club, coffee shop, restaurant, an 11,000 SF ballroom, outdoor pool and deck, gym, landscaped plaza, and 140,000 SF parking garage. In 1992, Linbeck completed a major renovation to update all of the guest rooms and returned again in 1997 to serve as Project Manager/Builder for an 80,000 SF renovation to the ballroom and meeting spaces, and addition of a new floor. In 2002, Linbeck was engaged as the Project Manager/Builder of The Chisholm Club, a 15,300 SF renovation of existing restaurant spaces into two luxury restaurants. These two projects were accomplished without interruption to the existing building.
