Description
Texas Christian University’s Reed Hall, built in 1919 and historically designated, now blends modern upgrades with its rich heritage. Linbeck’s renovation included a full façade restoration, ADA/TAS-compliant entry reconstruction, and sub-grade waterproofing. Inside, the basement was transformed into a new first floor with faculty offices and meeting spaces. High-tech classrooms, seminar rooms, study lounges, and casual seating enhance collaboration, while faculty enjoy spacious, windowed offices. Now home to the History, Geography, and English Departments, along with multiple academic centers, Reed Hall connects to Scharbauer Hall via a landscaped courtyard, strengthening its role in the AddRan College of Liberal Arts. With improved accessibility, efficiency, and learning spaces, it remains a cornerstone of TCU academics.
