Description
The Denton A. Cooley Building is a key member of the Texas Medical Center’s (TMC) network of education, research, and healthcare institutions. Stretching 10-stories high, the globally-recognized research hospital was built to include 93 patient beds across three floors, clean rooms, surgical suites, an auditorium, and helipad, as well as research spaces for the University of Texas Institute for Molecular Medicine and Texas Heart Cardiovascular Research Institute. Construction of the Denton A. Cooley Building required a heightened levels of planning and coordination by the Linbeck team, mainly due to its location in the heart of the TMC. Through these efforts, Linbeck was able to capture The Texas Heart Institute’s vision and advance the TMC’s overarching impact.
