YES Prep North Rankin Elementary

Description

North Rankin Elementary is a ground-up construction, two-story education building that includes traditional classrooms, art, music, and science labs, conference rooms, administrative offices, a library, servery with a platform, and covered basketball court. In addition to its brightly painted walls and features, a highlight of the new school is its abundance of natural light, particularly in the library, and entryway mural. As part of construction, Linbeck completed a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), a FEMA-approved document that officially revises the current Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for the site. Our team worked alongside YES Prep throughout the LOMR coordination process to add fill to the existing site and submit technical data and engineering analyses to demonstrate these changes.
